At the discretion of the BEF and the Show Organisers qualified riders can substitute a horse ridden by them in a 2010 qualifier, including the qualifiers held at Addington and Ingliston in November/December 2009.

In the case that any qualified horse/rider combination declines to compete at The British Open Show Jumping Championships 2010 the next rider according to the qualification points system may, at the discretion of the organisers, be invited to replace the withdrawn rider.

All those qualified to compete in the final will be required to confirm their intention to compete at The British Open Show Jumping Championships, by payment of the appropriate entry fee which must arrive with the Show Secretary together with the correctly completed entry form by the entry closing date.
