GRAND PRIX POINTS LEAGUE

Points will be awarded to the best placed six horse/rider combinations in each Premier Grand Prix. The best four results, from any combination, will be the points that are accumulated to define the top twenty riders who will qualify from the League. In the case of equality for the 20 qualifying places, the rider with the best profile of results (i.e. the greatest number of higher placings taking into account the four best results) will qualify.

Qualifiers will qualify for the Winter Grades A & B Premier Grand Prix Championship to be held at the British Open Show Jumping Championships 16-19th April 2009.

Points awarded to each combination as follows:

1st - 12pts, 2nd - 10pts, 3rd - 8pts, 4th - 6pts, 5th - 4pts, 6th - 2pts and 1 point to every combination in the jump-off.

Qualified riders can compete in the Final on any one of the horses ridden by them in one of the qualifying Grand Prix Classes.
