Earlier today I rode Rooney IV in the Accumulator, we finished 7th just behind my dad, John, I then took him to the Parelli Zone to take part in another demonstration. He was feeling good and I hope the techniques are going to help him to feel more relaxed especially when we are competing at big occasions like these. It’s the Puissance later this evening, I’m not riding this time, but will be watching to see how my cousins William and Ellen get on.
I’ve just finished 4th in the third leg of the Championship. It was another speed class and I rode Casino who jumped a super clear, but unfortunately I wasn’t fast enough to beat Eric Van Der Vleuten, Daniel Dusser and Samantha Macintosh. I’m lucky that I still lie in first place going into the final tomorrow. We will jump in reverse order so being one of the last to go will give me a real advantage, I think, I also have a jump in hand. I will be riding USA Today, he’s had a day off today so I hope he’ll be feeling fresh ready for the challenge ahead. It’s exciting and I have my fingers crossed although anything could happen – any of the riders who are lying in the top seven could be in contention for winning the championship.
