Amy Guy, aka Siren of the Gladiators, has today confirmed she will be taking part in a Celebrity Arena Polo match at one of the UK’s blue chip equestrian events, the British Open Show Jumping Championships.
Amy will captain her team of three (comprising two professionals) who will face Katie and her professionals on Sunday 19th April at Birmingham’s LG Arena (formally known as the NEC Arena). The British Open (16th – 19th April) hosts world-class show jumping featuring the top British and foreign International riders alongside exciting competitions including arena polo.

The glamorous celebrities both have riding experience and with their similar sporty and competitive personalities, they are really looking forward to impressing the audience with their new polo skills and, of course, winning! The blonde beauty Amy was Miss UK in 2005 and is looking forward to playing against her stunning opponent, Ms Price.
Amy commented, “I am really excited about playing Polo at the British Open. It’s going to be great fun playing against Katie Price and amongst some top professionals. My Gladiator training keeps me very fit but I will be having a few polo lessons to get me prepared for the British Open. It sounds like a brilliant show and I hope to see some of my fans there to cheer me on!”
The British Open Celebrity Arena Polo match on Sunday 19th April will comprise of two chukkas giving thousands of expected visitors an insight into the “moves” and “shots” the celebrities have learnt in preparation for the fierce competition. As one of the fastest and most dangerous sports in the world, Polo is a truly thrilling spectator’s sport and with two gutsy celebrities at the helm expect fun and fireworks!

Not only will Amy and Katie be playing beside some of Britain’s leading arena polo players on Sunday 19th April, they will also have the opportunity to watch the final of the prestigious British Open Show Jumping Championship contested by Olympic riders.
