Addington wildcards have been claimed!

Robert Bevis and WexfordDi Lampard & Robert Bevis will now join leading British and foreign riders at the British Open Show Jumping Championships after fighting off fierce competition at the Addington Manor ‘easibedplus’ Classic qualifier last weekend.

Di Lampard wowed the crowds and secured her place at the British Open by jumping clear in the competition and scooping maximum points on Friday with her horse, Master Cruise.  Welshman, Robert Bevis, jumped consistently throughout the competition on Wexford to win his ticket to the Show.  Robert is becoming something of a wildcard specialist, having earned his ticket to the British Open’s sister event, Horse of the Year Show, in a last-minute qualifier for the past three years running.

“It was a fantastic event, full of excitement and anticipation, with a lot of strong contenders narrowly missing out on their chance to go through. Di came expecting nothing and ended up qualifying so it was a great result for her and Robert jumped very well in every single class. Ryan Prater also put in a sterling performance, winning both the second and third competitions but unfortunately for him it was with different horses.” said Addington’s PR Manager, Gareth Jenkins.
