Dressage to Dazzle at the British Open

Daniel TimsonFreestyle Dressage to Music featuring internationally acclaimed dressage rider, Daniel Timson, is set to entertain the crowds at the British Open Show Jumping Championships.

This dramatic and theatrical performance will include movements achieved at the highest levels of training, to an upbeat, exciting music montage, captivating the audience and raising hairs on the backs of necks around the arena.

Daniel Timson, based in Loxwood, West Sussex, will be riding the test on ‘Feinthyme’ his 14 year old black Oldenburg stallion. Feinthyme, owned by Mr & Mrs J.C Wallace, is an advanced Dressage stallion and has competed up to Intermediaire II level.

Daniel’s dressage career started in young riders, achieving success and representing Great Britain several times under the guidance of Dane Rawlins.  Since then he has competed both Nationally and Internationally and to date Daniel has benefited as a senior rider with the help and expertise of some of the world’s top dressage trainers, such as Klaus Balkenhol, Henk van Bergen, Johann Hinneman, Paul Fielder and Markus Gribbe.

Looking forward to the British Open this year, Daniel said, “I am thrilled to be coming to the British Open this year. I will be preparing both my horse and myself for the display in very much the same way I do for a normal Dressage championship, Feinthyme is a seasoned competitor so I’m sure he will love the big atmosphere at the Show.”
